Check the upgrade before you buy
We bought the first Capacity and Range upgrades through the normal menus. Capacity added one backpack slot; Range increased the displayed cutting reach after the first rebirth.

Capacity: $500 for the fourth backpack slot
- Sell your collected treasures, then open Upgrades on the left.
- At Capacity 0 / 20, our panel offered backpack slots 3 → 4 for $500. This purchase was available before any rebirth.
- Click the enabled Buy button and check both the upgrade level and Backpack counter.
- Our Capacity became 1 / 20, with four slots. The next offer was 4 → 5 for $12.6K; we did not buy that second slot upgrade.

Range: unlock at Rebirth 1, then $610
Before the first rebirth, Range was labeled Unlock at Rebirth 1. After we performed that reset, the first Range purchase became available at $610. Capacity remained 1 / 20 with four slots.

We clicked Buy $610. Range became 1 / 20, and the next menu offer started from 116, increasing to 127 for $15.4K. Our balance changed from about $6.1K to $5.5K. This verifies the purchase and displayed reach, not a timed comparison of cutting speed.

Read unlock requirements separately from prices
At this checkpoint, Agility was labeled Unlock at Rebirth 2 and Mobility Unlock at Rebirth 3. The previews showed per-swing time 0.65s → 0.58s and movement speed 300 → 310 respectively. Those labels alone do not prove either upgrade was purchased or its effect measured.
Before spending your coins
- Read the current unlock label, current upgrade level, effect and price in your own menu.
- Check your coins after selling. A full backpack does not automatically mean you can afford the next Capacity level.
- Keep coins, rebirth count and multipliers in the record when comparing purchases.
These are two purchases in one save context, not a complete price curve or a best upgrade order. Tools, auras, luck and pickup-reach effects require separate purchase records. Review the reset evidence before using rebirth to unlock another upgrade.
